Men's Ministry

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

1 Corinthians 16:13

University’s men participate in many areas of ministry. They lead us in worship, teach Bible classes, and even cook in the kitchen. Whether you are retired or just starting your career, married or single, old or young, University has a place for you. Get involved with your God-given talents and let’s grow together as a family of God.

Men's Night Out:
This group finds ways for University men to enjoy each other’s company participating in various activities such as eating out, enjoying local sporting events or other manly things, and serving others.
Men's Prayer Breakfast:
The University men are invited to participate in our Prayer Breakfasts which meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Breakfast is served at this event where a devotional is held, and together the men share in fellowship
and prayer. There is also an "Area Wide Breakfast" the second Saturday of each month at different local congregations. University hosts this every 4 - 5 months.
Public Worship:
The worship service is a special time at University. It is a time set aside each week to come together as members of God’s family to celebrate our faith in Christ with songs of praise, prayers, sharing the Lord’s Supper, and hearing God’s Word preached. Worship is a very moving experience as each person participates and responds to the message of God. The worship experience will leave you desiring to know more about the awesome God we serve. The men who take part in Public Worship serve in various ways, such as: serving communion, public prayer, and greet guests.
